Time for consult: If you have been having unprotected sex with your partner for more than a year & not conceived, a workup at a fertility center may be the best way to find answers. Both you & your partner will need to be evaluated. Your regular OB can sometimes start the process but the center can study you both & provide information on assisted pregnancy if needed.

Infertility: Chlamydia is not a good thing even when treated. How do you know your tubes aren't blocked? Did you have a hystero-salpinogram? In any case, you're not considered infertile until you've tried unsuccessfully to get pregnant for 12 months. At that time, you need to go see reproductive endocrinologist. In meantime, go see your family doc or OB for preconception counseling & prenatal vitamins.
