Ask surgeon...: Circumcision is performed to relieve the bothering effects of long foreskin like infection, inflammation, etc. and can be done safely under local anesthesia as outpatient after proper preoperative counseling stressing realistic expectation. I would not worry about the large penile veins. More? Ask surgeon...
