Didn't see my 4 yr old in the floor and i ended up stepping on his heel and over extending my pinky toe, the skin under it has split. any suggestions?

Toe Split..: The treatment will depend on the severity if the split. If the bleeding is uncontrollable, then to urgent care you go. If only a minor split, provide the basic first aid treatment. Clean first, apply a topical antibiotic and then dress the toe. As the days progress, watch for signs of infection. At first sign call your doctor for advice and possible antibiotics.
