Upper airway: Snoring is usually from upper airway obstruction with the nose the most common site. Too much weight narrows down the throat opening along with fattening of the tongue. First check if you have a constantly stuffy nose- if yes get it treated. In the meanwhile try elevating the head of the bed (or a wedge pillos) by 4-6 inches. Sleep apnea should be ruled out. See ENT if problem persists.
