Started with synthroid (thyroxine) 25 mcg 40 days back. Can I check my TSH level now? It was 9.8 with T3 & T4 in normal levels before medication
I took too much Synthroid (thyroxine) trying to lose weight. Can i stop taking my Synthroid (thyroxine) for 3 days to get my levels back to normal? I currently take 50 mg, TSH 0.022, T4 14.84. I don't have a thyroid anymore.
Have Hashimotos thyroid for 16 years. Thyroid blood work just came back TSH 2.82 which is normal for me on 100 mcgs synthroid but free T4 was slightly elevated at 1.48 with range being .8-1.40. What could this mean?
Finally on dose of synthroid to keep TSH down (currently around 4tsh) and free T4 normal. Antibodies tpo came back at 1. What are other likely causes?
So I have Hashimotos thyroiditis and I use to take my Synthroid but stopped once I had my gastric sleeve. Because my levels went back to normal should I go head and start back up on my meds and still have my labs for Tsh drawn regularly?
