Because...: That's the symptom which leads to the Dx. The overly excited phase is often so extreme that your system becomes inflamed and easily irritated. It's a matter of too much. The Tx is intended to limit that phase medically since it is often very difficult or impossible to control it yourself. Best wishes w/ Tx.

Medication effects: Thank you for informing about, Lexapro (escitalopram), (escitalopram) Lamictal, Seroquel. Both Lamictal, Seroquel are for Bipolar Disorder. Lexapro (escitalopram), (escitalopram) is not for Bipolar Mania. From being happy to being angry is likely due to these medications. Using Lexapro (escitalopram) with Seroquel can increase the risk of an irregular heart rhythm that may be serious. Discuss with Psychiatrist: •Diagnosis •Side effects •Choosing medication needed
