No more damage...: Although it may sound reasonable to use them, lidocream type creams are not recommended for application to already injured or traumatized skin. The treatment is prevent any further to the frozen skin, blood vessels and nerves in the digit. The pressure of applying, possible allergic as well as unstable skin could further increase tissue damage. Call you doctor for the appropriate medication.
