Contact allergies: It is possible that you could have urticaria or even a contact dermatitis from tree pollen. Not everyone reacts with the typical sneezing and itchy eyes.

Blotchy rash: Maybe. Without a picture its hard to say. Since you have a cat , the rash may be more likely from the cat.
