Erosive esophagitis: Hello and welcome to HealthTap, I would suggest using Carafate (Sucralfate) 1 g PO q6hr initially for 2 weeks and then 1 g PO q12hr for the next 4 weeks for maintenance. Please Take on empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Please also avoid using NSAIDS (ibuprofen, Alieve or Naproxen, Aspirin) as much as possible. I hope it helps. Thank you.

Hello .I have been diagonised with discrete erosive esophagitis one year ago after having acidity problem and spitting bood in saliva.I took esomeprazole 40mg and pantaprazolz 40 mg.But still I frequesntly get blood in my saliva while spitting?
