Possibly: All those eye drops, plus the manipulation of the eye, can cause irritation. The ocular tissues are similar to joint tissue. Add in muscle tissue and a lot of things can hurt. Tell your surgeon.

Probably not: If your cataract surgery was done without complications and was done several months ago, your eye should be fully healed by now. You should return to your surgeon for follow-up examination to search for other possible causes.
