Much: The stethoscope can hear the heart's rate, rhythm, and any abnormalities like rubs, clicks, extra beatsetc for the lung, it can hear clear breath sounds, diminished breath sounds, crackles, wheezing, rales, etc. The stethoscope is not perfect but its a great tool way to start an examination.
