A few days, but...: Possibly as soon as 2-3 days, but often a week or longer. Or it may not help at all. With sinusitis, usually it is difficult to know whether the main symptoms are due to viral infection, allergy, or bacterial infection. If there is a significant bacterial component, antibiotics are helpful, but they have no effect against viruses or allergy. If not helping much, discuss with your doctor.
