12 week old holds head nice and high when on tummy but has considerable head lag/wobbly head when pulled up to sitting.still normal at this point?

Yes: Even more so if the kid was a little early or on the mall side.The head is massive compared to adult proportions and a lot to likt/control.It take until about 4 mo in a term born baby for them to have little or no lag.
