Dry eyes: Wearing contact lenses successfully generally requires very normal ocular surface, normal tearing & resident moisture, properly fitting eyelids with normal oil gland function, and proper handling and caring of the contact lenses. Prescriptions do change and therefore may need adjustment. Some people just can't get enough tolerance to wear contacts long enough and successfully. See an eye MD 4 help
