Prly ok need mor inf: I would like to see other information, but this sounds ok. Large platelets are generally younger platelets, and reflect increased platelet turnover. The count sounds normal. I would want to see the rest of the CBC and also see old values. Consider consultation with a hematologist in your area.

How many?: Platelets form from their precursor megakaryocytes fragmenting into tiny pieces. From time to time, small groups stay together. This is quite common if you're making platelets rapidly because something's destroying them rapidly, but if your count's normal and you're feeling okay and aren't obviously a bleeder, and there's not a whole lot of them, chances are it's just you.
