You can: Your partner and you need to be treated and be abstinent for 7-14 days until your cure is complete. you dont need a test of cure unless you are pregnant or have other medical issues. If you have sex while not cured, you can transmit it back and forth. best wishes Dr m

Chlamydia Treatment: ...takes at least seven days after the last dose to be a cure. I always tell my patients to use condoms for at least 2 weeks after treatment. And how are you so sure that anyone is "clean"? You really need to use condoms every single time. You do not want to keep contracting and treating chlamydia over and over. It can do some serious damage. Good Luck and Practice Safe Sex.
