Unlikely: Cerazette contains the progesterone Desogestrel. Ectopic heart beats or tachycardia are not listed as side effects of progesterone. One website(ehealthme.com) shows that < 1% of patients listed fast heart beat as a side effect and most were over 40 years old. They didn't have to stop the medication. Out of 4500 patient reports of progesterone side effects non listed ectopic beats.
