Surgical vs. nonsurg: If you are having symptoms/signs consistent with a new mensical tear- pain on the inside or behind the knee, catching/popping, swelling & abnormal function, then arthroscopic surgery should be considered. Activity modification, physical therapy and injections may be helpful for some patients. Mri abnormalities are very commonly seen on an mri, especially in those that already had surgery.

Talk with your doc: If I am not mistaken you have been asking much the same question for some time now in short your medial meniscus is probably severely damaged you probably need arthroscopy to remove the damaged portion and hopefully you will do great afterwards proceed good luck.
