Normal MRI?: A normal MRI is difficult to argue with, although "joint mice"-fragments of cartilage may be missed. Certainly inflammation can be a problem and missed on mri, unless fluid is present. Synovial folds, or "plica" can also be missed. I'd see someone knowledgeable about "knees, " to review the mri, possibly inject your knee with steroids, and put you on a temporary course of nsaids.

Orthopaedic Surgeon: Have an orthopaedic surgeon review your MRI and examine you. There are plenty of times which I do not agree with a radiologist reading of normal or abnormal. Go for the 2nd opinion.

Maybe: If you have any questions, ask your Doctor about them, or look for a second opinion about your MRI from an experienced Radiologist. Do not try to read your study without an experienced Doctor. There are many abnormalities which can be seen with MRI, some of which are important, and some are not important.
