Hemorrhage: If there are absolutely no symptoms and the vision is unaffected, hemorrhage is likely. This can be very red, spread over a large area and will stay red until absorbed. If you are having any symptoms, or have bruising elsewhere on your body, then see an ophthalmologist quickly.
