Rheumatologist: Possibly. Your symptoms are suspicious of a collagen or autoimmune disease. A rheumatologist is best qualified to evaluate,advise and treat you. Appropriate tests will be ordered in order to make a diagnosis.

Diagnosed w/systemic scleroderma. Have shiny, tight skin, joint pain, GI issues, GERD, muscle weakness, numbness in both hands&feet. Have costochondritis and it is very painful. Is costochondritis a chronic condition? Is it a result of scleroderma?
