Urinalysis: It's important to note whether there was contamination of urine by vaginal blood. If this isn't the case, your physician will order a urinalysis with a microscopic examination and culture to see whether there is evidence of blood or other substances like bile that can discolor the urine. If there is blood in the urine, it can be caused by infection(usually causes burning), stones or growths.
