2 weeks: after an injury pain should be subsiding. Swelling and bruising should also be improving. If you are still having pain with walking and are concerned I would recommend getting an exam and possibly an xray to determine the extent of any injuries and to give you a good treatment option.

A wankle ankle.: Two weeks is not an outrageously long time to be still having some residual pain. The pain should be decreasing and your activity should be tempered with patience in order to speed the healing up. A moist heat application can do wonders to speed the bruise dissolution and calm the irritated nerves. To remove all doubt, have it evaluated for unappreciated problems.

Ankle Sprain: Ankle sprains are very common injuries. There's a good chance that while playing as a child or stepping on an uneven surface as an adult you sprained your ankle--some 25,000 people do it every day.
