Board Certified: usually requires EXAMINATION(S), Fellowship training is in PREPARATION for such EXAMS! The latter is often called "Board QUALIFIED"! BTW Requirements DIFFER for each SPECIALTY or SUBSPECIALTY Hope this helps! Dr Z
