What does fellowship trained mean? how does it differ than board certified.

Extra training: The levels of education for a physician are this: 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, minimum 3 years of residency, then a fellowship to specialize. These can as little as one extra year but are often several years after residency to become even more specialized in their care.
