Frozen shoulder: Trial of physical therapy, home exercise program and one corticosteroid injection may help. Seeing an orthopedist if these fail is advisable. Extracorporeal shock wave therapy and manipulation under anesthesia may help. The doctor who planted the "battery" should ideally coordinate the care.

?frozen shoulder: I presume you are saying your mother didn't move her shoulder for 2 months and now has a "frozen" shoulder from lack of motion. After 2 months, this can be a serious issue that will likely require intensive physical to recover full function but that should be the goal. She should see her physician as soon as possible about referral for therapy.
