Not uncommon: You may have irregular bleeding for up to 6 mo. The strings will coil and could be felt anywhere. If in doubt go see your doctor to check position of iud.

IUD location check: You need to have your MD re-check the location of your IUD and make sure that it hasn't been extruded into the vagina.
