A member asked:

There are rigid, clear bumps on my throat; painful to swallow. i've had mono before and strep throat 4 times in the past year. i am also fatigued.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Recurrent pharyngeal: infections is not normal for the average 19 year old female and the reason for your susceptibility needs to be determined, also the cause of the "bumps" will need to be properly evaluated and treated. I will recommend a consult with a PCP and ENT. Your chronic fatigue may be attributable to infectious mononucleosis or poor sleep arising from your ENT issues. Take care www.healthtap.com/dr-nnebe
