A member asked:

Does partial hysterectomy affect vaginal health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not unless shortened: There is no impact on vaginal health unless the surgeon resects too much vagina in the process of doing the hysterectomy, if the cervix is removed. "Partial hysterectomy" can mean removing only the uterus and no cervix, or the uterus with retention of the tubes and ovaries.
