It is certainly: possible that the withdrawal from the benefits of the medication result in your symptoms. You should discuss this with your health care provider. The medication would not have been prescribed if he/she did not think it would be of benefit to you. Considering stopping it is an important conversation you should have with him/her before doing so.

See your Family Doc: Or whoever prescribed your Amlodipine. Were you supposed to stop it? In other words, was your doc trying to taper you off? Or did you stop on your own? If so, your headache could be due to high blood pressure. So check your BP (goal less than 140/90 when younger than 60 but some advocate even more aggressive goals eg less than 120/80). Then follow up w/your Family Doc or whoever prescribed med.
