Sinusitis: The symptoms are pretty consistent with a viral sinusitis. I can not explain the pressure going down the neck. If the symptoms get worse after 5 days or not better after 10 days, you son should be placed on an appropriate antibiotic. Also consult and ENT doctor for a specific diagnosis.
