Examination: It would be impossible to make a diagnosis based on the limited information you can offer in this forum. Where exactly on the chest does it hurt? If it hurts at the junction of the rib and the sternum you might have dislocated the rib, even just temporarily. You need to be examined to get an accurate diagnosis. Consult a clinician.
