ABCDEs: 21 year old lady with pigmented skin lesion. I suggest you visit a dermatologist. Are you fair skinned? Family history of melanoma? These are risk factors. Physicians examine and look for Asymmetry of the lesion, the Borders, the Color and Diameter,Evolution of the lesion. Lesions can be biopsied and pathologically examined under microscope. May just be a "sunspot" or pigmented macule/nevus.
