On individual basis: Depends on type of exercise. Resistance training, muscle groups need time to recoperate and you will just flat out not be able to excel because you body will be too fatigued to respond. Other type of exercise, walking, jogging, tennis etc etc also varies per individual. If you feel up to it, by all means exercise but make sure you get enough nutrition and rest in between.
