You are: CONSTIPATED! The formal definition of constipation is fewer than 3 bowel movements a week....as important as increasing fiber (5+ fruits/vegetables plus whole grains/cereals daily and ? fiber supplements), you need LOTS OF WATER...more than 8 glasses a day. And EXERCISE daily. You could next try laxatives, i.e. OTC MiraLax (polyethylene glycol) but at this point you should see Doc in case any tests are needed for eval
