This needs eval: There is really no way you can figure out what this is without an examination. It could be painful and swollen due to trauma, fluid build up (hydrocele), inflammation (orchitis), or many other causes. If the pain was only mild, you could take an OTC pain reliever and wear an athletic supporter for 2-3 days, but if pain is sudden/severe you need evaluation now. Stay well:)
