Common issue...: Memory storage is a complex topic. To begin forming a memory, attention must be focused on the material. If you are tired, bored, distracted--this can be the single biggest challenge. Next, you must "understand" the material within some framework of reference familiar to you. Finally, repetition/review reinforces the memory. Caffeine is controversial here, but can help with 1 parameter--fatigue.
