Probably not: If there is a contagious period for this disease by sexual fluids it would be during the fever phase which has passed.The germ itself does remain in your stool for a period of several weeks. Many adults will have had the illness as a kid and have immunity, but I have seen occasional cases in parents of my kid patients.(there is more than one strain of virus that produces this pattern illness)
