See your surgeon!: You need to see your surgeon for concerns of this nature. An infection is possible but it also may also be normal. The vagina is a mucus membrane and when it is irritated by surgery there is increased mucus production just like your nose. Mixed with some clotted blood and suture material, it can have a yellow color and a bad odor even if everything is fine. Best wishes!
