Get evaluation first: Frontal hair loss can be a seen with inherited male pattern baldness as young as 18, but hair loss can be a sign of recent illness, thyroid imbalance or immune dysfunction or even scalp inflammation or infection & sometimes from excessive traction commonly seen with tight braids or hair pulling habits. It is rare to be caused by shampoo, etc, so it is unlikely that special hair treatments will have a significant effect. I urge you to get an evaluation.
