Find the cause first: Sometimes medical illness can cause hair loss..Such as hormonal imbalance, medication use/chemo, thyroid diseases etc...Some females excessive testosterone and may have androgenic alopecia--male-pattern baldness..But it is rare. Thus, it is best treating the causes. If no cause found, topical rogaine (minoxidil) may help...But this only helps as long as it being used..Hair will fall off after stopping use.

Fibro asso uncertain: Fibromyalgia may be associated with stress and anxiety. Whether this is associated with your hair loss is uncertain but would discuss this with your dermatologist.
