No test for men: BV occurrs more in women who have more sex, but BV has never been shown to be sexually transmitted. BV in men is not yet considered a treatable or testable condition, nor can they be a "carrier". Women who get a lot of recurrent BV should make serial visits to her GYN who can try therapies of increasing strength and duration that will rebalance the vaginal flora, and keep it balanced over time.
