The battery on the: LINQ is warranted for 13 months but predicted to last upwards of three years. It is a monitoring device only it doesn't do anything to you. It would be transmitting whenever you are near your cell monitor you have at home and your physician should be getting reports or can download information daily. This includes battery life and function. Ask your health care provider for an evaluation.
