Wisdom teeth?: if you still have your wisdom teeth this could be the cause. If you do not it sounds like its another tooth in that quadrant. Since all the teeth are connected by a main nerve called the Inferior alveolar nerve, it could be the back tooth is abcessed or infected. When there is difficulty swallowing I would see a dentist immediately. This could be a very dangerous situation! Go tomorrow!
