Borderline values: Borderline numbers that are otherwise normal. In this scenario we can't rely on a blood test alone. The diagnosis can be helped by examining the clinical picture . Physical exam and symptoms should help narrow the diagnosis.

I have a ventricular septal defect (vsd). Is it dangerous, and will my baby have the same condition?

Tell OB & Peds docs : If a pregnant woman has a congenital heart defect, there is an increased chance her children will have a heart defect. However, it might be a different heart abnormality. Because the anomaly might not be detected in a fetus with an OB ultrasound or echocardiogram, babies at risk are often seen by a pediatric cardiologist and/or undergo an echo after birth. Sometimes a defect appears later in life.

Yes: You can do both, although it is generally recommended not to introduce a bottle in the first few weeks, until your milk supply is well established. However, if you are exhausted and just need a break, an occasional bottle should not interfere with succesful breastfeeding.
