What would make bilirubin levels in adults go from 1.2 then 1.5 then down to 1.0? Is this normal gallbladder was ok on ultrasound. What could it be?
Had an embolism yr ago. Can it damage liver? All blood work normalized except Bilirubin which fluctuates between normal & slightly elevated. Liver U/S /gallbladder normal. Last 3 Bilirubin tests past 3 mths 25,19 and 21 umol/l. Could this be serious?
Here are my symptoms, 3 weeks vomitting, lost 15lbs, pain started two days ago upper right, sharp pain goes to back, bilirubin in urine, all blood work neg. ct scan neg., gallbladder removed last year. gi specialist in hospital ordered endoscopy tomorrow
Total bilirubin 1.07 ultrasound found sludge in gallbladder awhile back, could this be the cause? Is 1.07 alarming? All other tests considered fine.
Gallbladder removed 3/6/23 (no stones but operating at 15%). Before the removal my liver enzymes had been slowly increasing and are now ALT 193 AST 133 Bilirubin 0.6. CT scan a few days ago was normal as was previous ultrasound. Should I be worried?
