Way too high : As a person of South Asian descent, you need to be very aggressive in lifestyle changes to start with to decrease your LDL to less than 100 mg/dl (as close to 70 as possible), TG to less than 150; and hdl (= good cholesterol) > 45 at a min. Eat as much of a Mediterranean diet as possible - lots of fish, walnuts, almonds, vegetables. No egg yolk, no shellfish, no butter, no lard and no fried foods!
