Ear pain: If the ear is painful to touch, itching or burning, it may be an outer ear infection, aka Swimmer's Ear. Swimmer's ear is typically treated with antibiotic ear drops and will improve in 48-72 hours. If the ear is not tender to touch, it may be a middle ear infection, there may be uninfected fluid present or your eustachian tube may be blocked up.
