I've got a pilonidal cyst that's been bleeding for a few days, i'm on a very long wait list to see a specialist, how can i at least slow the bleeding?

Pressure and wait: If you have a draining Pilonidal cyst it can probably drain for some time. However if you pace some clean gauze or sterile gauze on the area and place a crap or jock strap around to hold on the gauze or a pad that will slow down the bleeding for now. Be very careful when changing the pads as they can make bleed. Need to see your doctor and he can help until you see specialist. Hope this helps.

Really? long list?: regular surgeon should be able to work on that. Localized irritation can be the problem with the pilonidal cys. Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, local cremes like neosporin work on localized irritation.
