Normal: If this discharge as you describe lasts only a few days and is stretchy and rubbery some describe it as mucous like, it is part of the regular cycle for ovulating women. If there is pain itching or smelly discharge this can mean an infection.

Clear discharge: is most likely benign cervical and vaginal ( sexual) mucous; however, if engaging in unprotected sexual intercourse, you must be screened for STD.
